About The River Roost 

Tucked away along the beautiful Betsie River, this cozy cabin retreat offers a peaceful getaway for two in the heart of Northern Michigan. Conveniently located between Frankfort, Elberta, and Benzonia, the cabin sits on a secluded riverfront property surrounded by nature and stunning views.
 

The Betsie River is one of Michigan’s designated Natural Rivers, known for its scenic shoreline, crystal-clear water, and incredible salmon runs in the fall. Whether you’re looking to relax on the deck, paddle the river, explore nearby trails, or enjoy evenings around the fire, this cabin is the perfect place to unwind.
 

Inside, the 480 sq. ft. cabin features a comfortable twin bedroom that sleeps two, a full bathroom with shower, a cozy sitting area overlooking the river, and a kitchenette equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and Ninja toaster oven/air fryer combo. A mini-split system provides both heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.
 

Outside, guests can enjoy a private riverfront deck, kayaks with direct river access, a Weber grill, Blackstone grill, picnic area, and fire ring with firewood included. The Betsie Valley Trail and nearby kayak launches are just a short walk away, offering easy access to biking, hiking, and exploring the surrounding area.
 

Please note: a camper and motorboat are stored on the property but are not available for guest use. Sorry, no pets.
